I joined Timebank right at the beginning when I moved to Lower Hutt. I didn’t know anyone in the Hutt and didn’t have family around, and so I love the community side of being in the Timebank. Sometimes my health issues have meant that being involved in other things is too much for me, but with Timebank there is no pressure.
